What we collect
Nothing. MilliReflex is a static website with no backend, no accounts, no contact forms and no upload endpoints. There is no analytics script and no third-party cookie. We operate no database of users and receive no personal data from you — and there is no button anywhere on the site that would change that.
Your test scores
Every score, best result and round history produced by the reaction time test is written to your browser's own localStorage on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing site data for this domain deletes all of it immediately.
The age group you pick
The test compares your average against published laboratory values, which are broken down by age, so it asks which age group you belong to. That choice is written to the same localStorage on your device so you are not asked again next visit. It is never transmitted, never shown to anyone, and never leaves your browser. If you would rather not pick, leave it on “Rather not say” and the comparison uses the study's whole adult sample instead.
The comparison numbers
The reference values are copied from one peer-reviewed study — Woods DL, Wyma JM, Yund EW, Herron TJ, Reed B (2015), Factors influencing the latency of simple reaction time, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience 9:131 — and shipped as a plain-text file in this site's own source (lib/norms.js). No request is made to the journal, to Cloudflare's data services, or to any other party to produce them. We do not collect our own visitor data to build a leaderboard, so every number on the page has a published source you can check.
Cookies and third parties
This version sets no cookies and embeds no third-party analytics, advertising or social widgets. If that changes — for example if we add traffic analytics or ads to keep the site free — this page will be updated to name the provider, what it processes, its legal basis and how to opt out, before the change goes live. Visitors from the EEA/UK would then see a consent banner before any non-essential script loads.
Hosting logs
Pages served over HTTPS may generate standard, aggregated request logs at the hosting provider (for example request count and status codes). These are not tied to any identity we can resolve, and we do not receive or store them ourselves.
Children
Because we collect no personal information, we do not process children's data. The site is not directed at children under 13 and contains no accounts, purchases or user-generated content.
Changes
Material changes update the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar laws you can request access, deletion or portability of personal data. There is none to disclose — but if you believe otherwise, the "no data collected" claim above is the answer, and you can verify it by reading the page source: the only storage call this site makes writes to your own browser, and there is no network request in game.js at all.
